Cauliflower BBQ Wings and Sweet Potato Fries
Cauliflower Wings are the perfect comfort food. You can still enjoy something crispy and fried but its still vegan and delicious. During Quarantine basically all I did was cook and this is one of the recipes I enjoyed making. Especially with the sweet potato fries on the side it’s a HIT.
For the fries I used purple, yellow and asian sweet potatoes because I really enjoy the different textures and flavors. My love runs deep for all things sweet potatoes though. I just cut them up, tossed them in olive oil, seasoned and air fried them.
Vegan BBQ Cauliflower Wings
1 Head of Cauliflower
¾ cups All Purpose Flour

1 Tablespoon Garlic Powder
1 Tablespoon Paprika Powder
½ cup BBQ Sauce
1 Teaspoon Salt
I Teaspoon Pepper
Sesame Seeds to garnish
Directions
- Wash and cut the cauliflower into smaller bit sized pieces. In a bowl mix chickpea flour, plant based milk, garlic and paprika powder, salt and pepper and whisk until you have a thick creamy and smooth batter.
- Next- Dip the cauliflower into the batter so the cauliflower florets are completely coated.
- Preheat the oven to 350 Degrees. While the oven is heating line your baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Transfer the coated florets to the baking sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes, flip and cook the other side for 10 minutes.
- Remove the wings from the oven and evenly coat with the Barbeque Sauce, then place back in the oven for an additional 15 minutes. If desired, add additional Barbeque Sauce once out of the oven.
- Serve and Enjoy immediately.
